”Meet with Karl Marx“ has a Chinese word for “death”.
A blower controlled by a timer inflates Karl Marx at regular intervals. After half an hour, the blower automatically switches off and the Marx statue is deflated. Half an hour later, the statue stands again. This rhythm continues throughout the exhibition.
In addition to the installation, there is also a video work showing people's reactions when they visit the statue of Karl Marx in Trier, Marx's birthplace, which was donated by China.
“见马克思”
“见马克思”在中文中有一层“死亡”的意思。
由定时器控制的鼓风机，定时充气卡尔-马克思像，半小时后，鼓风机自动关闭，马克思像被放气。半小时后再次站立。这种节奏贯穿整个展览。
除装置外，还有一个视频作品，展示了人们在马克思出生地特里尔，参观由中国捐赠的卡尔-马克思雕像时的反应。
